Dr. Victoria Leung, MD, FRSC
Dr. Victoria Leung is a fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic surgeon specializing in surgical rehabilitation of the eyelids, lacrimal system and orbit. Dr. Leung prioritizes working with patients to understand their specific needs so that she can deliver personalized, current, and evidence-based care. Her patients and colleagues value her attention to detail, communication style, medical and surgical expertise.
Dr. Leung graduated with Honours from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine and went on to receive several awards, including the Dr. Louis Kagan Ophthalmology Award for aptitude in Ophthalmology, the Dr. Sigmund Vaile award for best surgical resident, the Dr. John Speakman award and the Dr. W. Gordon C. Kelly award for outstanding clinical performance.
She completed a fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery at the Université de Montréal, where she worked with world-renowned faculty to acquire advanced techniques in eyelid surgery, periocular and facial reconstruction, and endoscopic lacrimal surgery. In Toronto, she works closely with Mohs surgeons to provide timely surgical care to patients with skin cancer affecting the eyelids and adjacent tissues, paying special attention to aesthetic and functional outcomes. She has been recognized by the Canadian Ophthalmological Society on numerous occasions for excellence in ophthalmic research.
Dr. Leung’s areas of interest include: functional eyelid surgery, cosmetic eyelid surgery, lacrimal surgery and periocular reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Jeremy Goldfarb, MD, FRSC
Dr. Jeremy Goldfarb is an ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in oculoplastic surgery.
Dr. Goldfarb completed his medical school at the University of Toronto, receiving the Dr. Louis Kagan Ophthalmology Award for special aptitude to pursue a successful career in ophthalmology. He then completed ophthalmology residency at University of Toronto, receiving numerous awards, including the Dr. Sigmund Vaile Award for surgical expertise. After graduation from residency Dr. Goldfarb completed two further years of subspecialty training in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Centre and the University of Texas. There he gained expertise in eyelid, lacrimal, orbital and cosmetic surgery/injectables.
He has a particular academic interest in periorbital oncology and cosmetic outcomes in periorbital surgery, for which he has published and presented on domestically and internationally. He is accepting referrals for functional and cosmetic oculoplastics presentations.
Dr. Michael G Brandt, MD FRCSC
Dr. Brandt is a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certified Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon with advanced sub-specialty fellowship training in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and one of a handful of Board-Certified Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons in Canada.
Dr. Brandt is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Department of Otolaryngology at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto.

Dr. James Oestreicher, MD, FRSC
Dr. James Oestreicher is a Full Professor of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences at the University of Toronto. For many years he was the Principal Preceptor of the Oculoplastic Fellowship program at the University of Toronto, which remains the only Canadian program accredited by the American Society of Oculoplastic Surgery. He is on active staff at St Michael’s and Mt Sinai hospitals. Internationally, he is known for his surgical expertise and innovation in the field of Ophthalmic Plastic and Orbital Surgery.
He is widely published, having over 45 peer-reviewed articles in top journals. He has given over 120 presentations at international meetings, over 45 invited lectures, and 35 Visiting Professorships. He is an active reviewer for several prominent journals, including Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He enjoys teaching, both in Canada and in developing countries. He has completed 15 ORBIS missions around the globe (the Flying Eye Hospital). He was an active participant in the University of Toronto surgical program in Costa Rica this past January, and in fact initiated the Oculoplastic section of that program three years ago before COVID-19 struck. He continues an online advisory role with Project Orbis and Medecins Sans Frontiers.
He is looking forward to renewing his teaching role in the Ophthalmology residency program at the University of Toronto, and for ongoing clinical work at Eye Face Institute.
